Arsenal are reportedly not interested in signing Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic in the January transfer window.

Vlahovic was one of the strikers who was linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium this month and in the summer after the Arsenal recruitment team made a profile that matched him. The Gunners were looking for a physically strong striker, with an eye for goal as well as pace.

A few players matched this criteria including Vlahovic but according to journalist David Ornstein, the striker is not a priority for the North London club at this stage. "You see names like Vlahovic they tried to sign him in the past," he said.

"It didn't happen when he went to Juventus. It seems Juventus are ready to part with him and they've brought in Randal Kolo Muani which is a further indication that it's not been going well for Vlahovic.

"Say Arsenal want to loan a player in the January transfer window, they can only do an overseas loan because their domestic Premier League places are already full. My early inquiry suggested he's not a player that they're particularly hot on at the moment."

Vlahovic has scored 12 goals in 23 appearances for Juve so far this season. Meanwhile, Eintracht Frankfurt's CEO, Markus Krosche has confirmed his club are in talks with Arsenal over the purchase of their academy defender Ayden Heaven.

The 18-year-old centre-back made his debut for the Gunners in the Carabao Cup at Preston earlier this season and has featured three times as an unused substitute in the Premier League. Confirming their interest, Krosche said: "We spoke to Arsenal and we try to sign him.

"He’s a really good prospect and we’ll see if we can find a solution with him."
