Arsenal given shock Karim Benzema striker transfer solution amid big Victor Osimhen claim
Rio Ferdinand has urged Arsenal to sign Karim Benzema on a loan deal until the end of the season to breathe fresh life into their Premier League title challenge.
Earlier this week, the Gunners received the news that Gabriel Jesus would be out for the remainder of the season after suffering a serious knee injury in Sunday's FA Cup defeat to Manchester United.
News of the Brazilian's injury was the latest blow for manager Mikel Arteta, who is already without Bukayo Saka after the England international suffered a hamstring injury in the 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace last month.

Now, Ferdinand has called on the Gunners to sign Benzema on a six-month loan deal until the end of the season.
Speaking ahead of Wednesday's North London derby, the former Manchester United and England defender urged the Gunners to make a move for the Frenchman.
"I'd go and get Benzema," said Ferdinand. "I'd say, give me a six-month loan, Benzema, have that."
Benzema, 37, has struggled for form since moving to the Saudi Pro League in 2023, scoring just 25 goals in 42 appearances, and has 18 months remaining on his current deal.
Meanwhile, Ferdinand's fellow pundit Ally McCoist said the Gunners should sign Victor Osimhen.
"I'd go and get Osimhen," said the Scot. "I'll tell you something, he's still been scoring goals in Turkey. His form is not what it was 18 months ago with Napoli, but I think he can get there again."
Nigeria international Osimhen fired Napoli to the Serie A title in 2022 but left the club last summer after falling out of favour with the club's management and, as a result, joined Turkish side Galatasaray on a season-long loan.
However, it is claimed that there is a break clause in the forward's deal which allows Napoli to recall him this month.
