Arsenal handed fresh injury blow ahead of Aston Villa clash
Arsenal winger Ethan Nwaneri is expected to miss the Premier League clash with Aston Villa later this month.
The youngster becomes the latest player to face a spell on the sidelines for the Gunners following the big injury setback suffered by Bukayo Saka. The England international will miss a few months after having surgery on his hamstring.
Speaking ahead of Arsenal's EFL Cup semi-final first leg against Newcastle United, Mikel Arteta said of Nwaneri: "Unfortunately he has picked up an injury and is going to be out for a few weeks. Muscular injury."

Ben White, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Raheem Sterling are all also sidelined through injury at the moment. The latter could return before White and Tomiyasu, who both face a race against time to play against Villa on Saturday, January 18.
Villa will likely be without captain John McGinn, who picked up a hamstring injury in the win over Leicester City last time out. Pau Torres is out of action for two months with a broken metatarsal.
Arsenal will play three matches before hosting Villa, against Newcastle in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night, before they entertain Manchester United in the FA Cup, then Tottenham in the league.
