Arsenal boosted their hopes of winning the Premier League title with victory over Chelsea.

The Gunners recorded an impressive 5-0 win over the Blues at the Emirates Stadium to extend their advantage at the top of the table. Arsenal are now three points ahead of second-placed Liverpool, who take on Everton on Wednesday night.

Kai Havertz and Ben White both scored a brace apiece against Chelsea, with Leandro Trossard also on the score sheet for Mikel Arteta's side. Arsenal now stand on 77 points with just four Premier League fixtures remaining.

As well as the three points, the five-goal winning margin has handed another advantage to Arsenal in the title race. The manner of the victory against Chelsea means that the Gunners' goal difference is now significantly better than their rivals.

Arsenal now have a goal difference of +56, which is the highest in the Premier League. Second-placed Liverpool are 13 goals behind at +43, while Man City are at +44 ahead of their midweek fixtures on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.

Both Liverpool and Man City will have the opportunity to gain ground on Arsenal in the goal difference department this week. Liverpool face Everton on Wednesday, before Man City travel to take on Brighton 24 hours later. Pep Guardiola's side have two games in hand over Arsenal, including the clash against the Seagulls, with an away trip to Tottenham Hotspur on the horizon.

Arsenal now just have four Premier League matches remaining this season to try and win the title. Those fixtures include away trips to Tottenham and Manchester United, as well as home games against Bournemouth and Everton.
