Where will Marcus Rashford end up come the closure of the January transfer window?

The Manchester United forward has made it clear he is ready for a "new challenge" having fallen out of favour at Old Trafford. Rashford netted three goals in the first two games under Ruben Amorim, but has barely played since.

He managed 31 minutes against Arsenal and then the same number of minutes against Nottingham Forest. He has not played a minute since then, being left out of the squad entirely for all but one of the matches, when he was an unused substitute against Newcastle.

Rashford is keen to make the move away from Old Trafford and a number of clubs have been linked with a move. His representative were reportedly in Italy this week to discuss a potential loan move to AC Milan, while football.london understands Tottenham hold an interest in the Englishman.

Arsenal have previously been linked with a move for Rashford and the Gunners may very well have entered the race to sign him this month.

Italian journalist Massimo Marianella made a huge claim that Arsenal have already been in touch with United over a deal and even mooted a potential price tag.

Speaking to Sky Italia during their Calciomercato – L’origine live show from Siena, as per Sport Witness, he said: "It seems that Arsenal have made a phone call to Manchester United for Rashford. The club has valued him at €25million (£20.9million)."

With Manchester United needing to make sure they comply with Profit and Sustainability Rules, the sale of Rashford, as an academy graduate, would act as pure profit, although the £21million price seems to be on the low side for a player of his undoubted quality.
