A statement from Arsenal owners Kroenke Sports & Entertainment has been issued after a huge deal was confirmed. The Kroenke family own several sports team in the United States including Los Angeles Rams, Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche, alongside Arsenal.

Stan Kroenke also has a hand in a number of real estate and media companies, such as Skycam and Altitude Sports and Entertainment, with a big move involving the latter. Despite owning Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets, they have been unable to show the Basketball and Ice Hockey games via Altitude.

That is because of a dispute with Comcast, the nation's largest cable provider. However, for the first time since 2019, Xfinity TV customers will be able to watch Colorado games using Altitude with a statement confirming as such earlier this week.

“The first thing we have to do at KSE is just look at our fans and say, ‘I’m sorry,’ and ‘We’re sorry,’" said Kevin Demoff, the president of team and media operations for KSE. ”Every day that went by for the past year was a game too many — too many shots, too many goals that were missed for our fans. We took that responsibility very personally.

“This was priority No. 1 for the Kroenke family, to make sure these teams got back on the air. And so from that perspective, it’s a great day. But it’s also a day that should’ve happened long ago.”

A statement from Josh Kroenke said: "We are thrilled to once again make Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche games available on Comcast and Xfinity platforms in Colorado and the surrounding region. This is the best possible outcome for Nuggets Nation and Avs Faithful, who now have a straightforward way to see every game on one service.”

The Kroenke's have come under fire in the last few weeks with Gunners boss Mikel Arteta, despite several pleas, seeing no new signings come into his squad during the January transfer window.

"We had a clear intention which is always there is a window open to explore the opportunities to improve our squad with players that can impact it," he said in a press conference.

"We haven't achieved it so we are disappointed in that sense but as well we are very aware that we only want to bring certain kind of players and we have to be very disciplined with that as well and I think that we will." Following that admission, Arsenal lost 2-0 to Newcastle in the Carabao Cup with Gabriel Martinelli also picking up an injury.

Another attacking injury blow, alongside failing to score against the Magpies across 180 minutes, has seen the lack of January activity further scrutinised with Arteta hoping the upcoming break in Dubai will benefit his players before the run-in begins.
