Arsenal respond to Man City win over Tottenham with four-word Premier League title vow

Arsenal saw their Premier League title dreams take a significant hit following Manchester City's victory over Tottenham. The Gunners beat Manchester United at Old Trafford over the weekend to return to the top of the table following City's dominant 4-0 win against Fulham the previous day.

As a result of the latest round of matches, Arsenal sat top on 86 points with the reigning champions just behind on 85 however City had a game in hand. And that arrived on Tuesday evening as they headed down to London for a clash against Spurs at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, a ground they were yet to win at in league action.

However that has now changed with Erling Haaland on target twice to put Guardiola's side on 88 points and with the knowledge a win on the final day against West Ham would crown them champions for the fourth consecutive season.

Despite Arsenal winning 15 of their last 17 league games, they are facing another season without a trophy. A superior goal difference could come into play this weekend against Everton, however City enter their home clash against West Ham as huge favourites with the visitors losing their last three away games and conceding 12 goals in the process.

All Arteta and his players can do is ensure they beat Everton at Emirates Stadium and hope for somewhat of a miracle from West Ham. While their chances to win the title have decreased significantly, there is still some hope among supporters with the club sending a clear message.

Surrounding Man City's clash against Spurs, Arsenal's official Instagram account posted a photo of Gabriel Magalhaes celebrating with the caption: "Fight until the end." Going off that, the message from the Gunners is certainly clear in that it is not over until around 6pm this Sunday.

Regardless of this season's title outcome, Arsenal have made clear strides from the last campaign and are certainly set up for the next few years with a number of key players tied down to long-term contracts.
