Arsenal's January transfer business is expected to be dominated by links to attackers amid their search for a replacement for Bukayo Saka. However, Mikel Arteta's men are reportedly eyeing moves elsewhere.

The Gunners remain in the Premier League title race despite a brief stumbling block in October with them currently six points behind Liverpool. Saka's hamstring injury means Arteta will be without his talisman for the foreseeable future.

A new attacker is expected to be the priority in the winter window but according to reports, a new goalkeeper is being eyed up. Boca Juniors' Leandro Brey is understood to be on Arsenal's radar after his performances in Argentina, according to The Mirror.

Espanyol's Joan Garcia is said to still be the priority target but there is no sign of the La Liga side relaxing their firm that his £25.2million release clause must be met. If Garcia is selected for the Spain national team, that clause is expected to increase.

After Aaron Ramsdale's summer move to Southampton, the North Londoners attempted to bring the 23-year-old to the club before bringing Neto in on loan from Bournemouth. The Brazilian isn't expected to make his move permanent leaving the door open for Brey to make the move.

Lazio and Atletico Madrid are also scouting the 22-year-old, who is reportedly one of several goalkeepers being scouted by the recruitment team at Sobha Realty. Boca president Juan Roman Riquelme is expected to speak to a number of European clubs in a bid to negotiate the best deal for the Argentine side.

According to reports in South America, Brey's contract at Boca includes a release clause worth around £12m. With the majority of the budget available expected to be spent on a new attacker, spending just over £10m on a long-term target may be the best route.
