Arsenal star Ethan Nwaneri sends wordless message after return from injury
Ethan Nwaneri has reacted to his return from injury during Arsenal's 3-0 win against Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday night in the Champions League.
The attacking midfielder missed Arsenal's previous five matches due to a muscle injury, adding to the growing list of absentees in Mikel Arteta's squad. The Gunners are currently without five players, including winger Bukayo Saka and William Saliba in defence.
But Nwaneri returned for the final half an hour against Zagreb in a welcome return for Arteta. The 17-year-old received a warm reception at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday after coming on as a substitute for Raheem Sterling in the second half.

And the Englishman has reacted to his return by simply putting a red love heart emoji on Instagram alongside a picture of him back in action. Nwaneri's post has been liked by several of his teammates including Saka, Declan Rice and Gabriel Martinelli.
Arteta could not hide his delight when asked at his post-match press conference about Nwaneri's return, highlighting the threat he poses to the opposition.
"Yeah, for sure. Great to have [him back]," Arteta said. "He has been training really good the last few days he’s adapting to the position and you can tell straight away the threat that he generates, how he convinced people that kind of ball they can put from these areas as well.
"So really happy, really good to have impact. We need options. We need threat. We need competition there."
On the importance of rest for his team if they qualify for the knockouts, he added: "Yeah, if we and the right to do that, that will be great, because obviously it's been a super busy schedule with a lot of demands and with things that happen, even more demands, especially on the players. So we can achieve that would be great."
