Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus fires two-word message and clear injury update after huge announcement
It has been an eventful six weeks for Gabriel Jesus. In mid-December he was out of form and searching for a way into the Arsenal side. Skip ahead to the end of January and he's expecting a second child, but has seen his season end prematurely.
In the middle, he scored five goals in the space of four days home and away to Crystal Palace. Jesus then followed that up with three more Premier League starts for Mikel Arteta.
The 27-year-old had found some of his old mojo back and provided a much-needed attacking alternative in a team trying to cope without Bukayo Saka. Instead, his latest knee injury - picked up just 40 minutes into the FA Cup third round defeat to Manchester United on penalties earlier this month - has seen plans change.

Jesus is once more on the treatment table and he faces at least six months out. He will not play again this season and will most likely miss all of the summer preparations for 2025/2026, as well.
That's not getting him down, though. On Friday, Jesus and his wife posted videos of their gender reveal for their second child. They confirmed that, after having a baby girl, they will be welcoming a boy into the world later this year.
Videos from the event were posted online - with Arsenal teammate Jorginho making an appearance himself. For Jesus, his latest set of sporting struggles have made way for family life and continues to emit good vibes.
On his Instagram, Jesus uploaded images of himself using crutches whilst in a lift. The Brazilian, fortunately, does not need anymore support for his knee and is smiling as he poses next to his partner.
Alongside the pictures, Jesus wrote: "[Translated] Always with me [red heart and praying hands emojis]". It comes just three days after Jesus posted from hospital after having surgery on his knee.
"There will always be answers to everything, which we will only know later on" he said. "I believe and trust in God. [praying hands and red heart emojis]".
