Arsenal 'in talks' over £21m transfer that could give Mikel Arteta squad dilemma
Arsenal are reportedly edging closer to completing their first signing of the summer transfer window.
The Gunners still have one more Premier League fixture remaining this season before the campaign officially draws to a close. Arsenal will face Everton on Sunday as they look to try and beat Manchester City to the league title.
Mikel Arteta's side trail City by two points going into the final day of the season. Arsenal will need to better their rivals' result against West Ham and hope they drop points in order to have a chance of winning the league title.
With the season nearing its conclusion, Arsenal are already being linked with potential new signings. A report has claimed that the Gunners are hoping to sign Fenerbahce defender Ferdi Kadioglu.
According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, the Gunners are "close" to Kadioglu and have already opened talks with the player's representatives over a move this summer.
However, it has been stated that Arsenal are yet to officially enter negotiations with Fenerbahce over a deal for the left-back.

Arsenal have been linked with several potential new signings already ahead of this summer, with a new left-back and striker deemed to be the areas of the squad in need of reinforcements. Kadioglu has made 49 appearances for Fenerbahce this season, scoring three goals with five assists, and reports in recent weeks have claimed Arsenal could be willing to pay €25 million (£21.5 million) to bring the player to the Emirates Stadium.
Arteta currently has Oleksandr Zinchenko, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Jakub Kiwior as the recognised left-backs in the squad. Jurrien Timber is also capable of performing in that role but has spent almost the entire season on the sidelines recovering from an ACL injury.
Despite having potentially four options in that position, Arsenal are continuing to be linked with the signing of a new left-back this summer. It remains to be seen if Kadioglu, who joined Fenerbahce in 2018 from NEC Nijmegen in a deal reportedly worth €1.4 million (£1.2 million).
