Arsenal's January transfer plans are likely to have been changed following the FA Cup defeat to Manchester United and there is one priority position.

The Gunners lost Gabriel Jesus to injury in the first-half and could face being without the Brazilian for a long period of time. He joins Bukayo Saka out, leaving Mikel Arteta incredibly short in attack.

Asked if the new injury blow will intensify calls to sign an out-and-out striker, Arteta replied: "No, but I mean we miss from various ways, from different players. I understand that but I cannot love my players more and my focus, I’m very much focused on the ones that we have to perform at the highest level, that’s it, the rest is not in our hands, my hands."

Sky Bet value Chelsea (11/4) as the favourites with Arsenal behind at 20/1.

If Arsenal were looking at possible temporary moves, Chelsea's Christopher Nkunku. The Frenchman is currently playing second fiddle to Nicolas Jackson and has been tipped to move this month on a loan move.

Another France international who could be available on loan is Randal Kolo Muani. The PSG star, like many on this list, has struggled for regular game time this season and is on a number of clubs' radar.

Juventus (4/6) are clear favourites at the moment with Borussia Dortmund (6/1) and Man United (7/1) shortly behind. The Gunners sit with Chelsea and Bournemouth at 25/1.
