Arsenal vs Ipswich postponement latest as thick fog causes Premier League chaos
Adverse weather conditions could again cause chaos in the Premier League with thick fog engulfing parts of England. Earlier this month, the Merseyside Derby between Liverpool and Everton was postponed because off Storm Darragh with wind speeds hitting upwards of 80mph.
Despite the storm, no other fixtures were called off that weekend with Arsenal drawing away at Fulham. However, just a few weeks later, another Liverpool fixture appears in doubt with their 8pm clash against Leicester at Anfield facing the possibility of being called off due to fog.
The club's LFC Help account on X (formerly Twitter) stated: "If you are coming to the match today, please ensure you set off earlier than usual due to foggy conditions in and around Anfield stadium. Please take care when travelling."

Lack of visibility for officials and players would be the main reason for the match to not go ahead with the safety of those involved the priority. An example of how it may look was on show during the second half of Tottenham's clash against Nottingham Forest.
Around the hour mark, a misty rain and subsequent fog began to appear on the far side with Amazon Prime cameras struggling to clearly capture the action on that flank. Currently though, there is no major concern that Arsenal's Premier League clash against Ipswich will be postponed.
That clash at Emirates Stadium is scheduled to kick off at 8pm on Friday evening with Brighton vs Brentford also on to be played. The Met Office have forecasted for mist to be in the air for the majority of tomorrow morning and evening in London.
At the minute, that is unlikely to be enough for Arsenal to not be in action tomorrow evening but if conditions get worse, it is a real possibility. With Liverpool's set to go ahead, that certainly suggests the chances of Arsenal playing Ipswich have increased.
The Reds already have a game in hand on the majority of their rivals with the best-case scenario perhaps being another postponement in Merseyside and Arsenal closing the gap back down to three points.
