Arsenal vs Tottenham postponement latest for North London Derby after Met Office weather warning
Arsenal's clash with Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night looks set to go ahead despite warnings of mist affecting North London on Wednesday.
The Gunners head into the fixture with Spurs smarting after a difficult week. They lost their first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Newcastle 2-0 before crashing out of the FA Cup on penalties against Manchester United on Sunday.
As for Spurs, they enjoyed a better time in their Carabao Cup semi-final as they beat Liverpool 1-0 before surprisingly being taken to extra time by National League Tamworth. Eventually, Ange Postecoglou's men cruised to a 3-0 victory to set up an away trip to Aston Villa in the next round.

Following the FA Cup matches, attention soon turned to the North London Derby but there are some slight fears about the weather for the match. This is due to warnings from the Met Office of mist rolling over the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.
Fortunately for both sets of supporters, the mist is due to clear before lunchtime and with temperatures rising to 9C, there are no fears about the pitch. This weekend highlighted the issues that mist can cause fixtures.
The League Two clash between Swindon Town and Crewe Alexandra was briefly postponed on Saturday afternoon after heavy mist led to a lack of visibility. Eventually the mist did clear and the game was able to be completed albeit with the second half kicking off when other matches were reaching full time.
Both Arsenal and Tottenham will be desperate to pick up three points in midweek as they look to bolster their title and Champions League qualification chances respectively.
