Arsenal vs West Ham predicted as Mikel Arteta's side look to close Liverpool gap
Arsenal can close the gap between themselves and Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table to just five points later today with a win against West Ham United.
With Liverpool drawing 2-2 against Aston Villa midweek, Arsenal currently sit eight points behind their title rivals in the Premier League table, with Mikel Arteta's side having a game in hand on the Reds. A Mikel Merino brace saw the Gunners beat Leicester City 2-0 in their last outing, with a clash against London rivals West Ham up next.
West Ham currently sit 16th in the Premier League table, with the Irons winless in their last four league games. The last meeting between the two sides was a thriller, with the Gunners winning 5-2 in east London. There are no new injury concerns for Arteta's side, with no players returning from the sidelines either.

Arsenal vs West Ham United score predicted
To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 25 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.
We predict that Arsenal could line up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their starting XI as follows: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly; Partey, Rice, Odegaard; Nwaneri, Merino, Trossard.
We predict that West Ham could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Areola; Wan-Bissaka, Mavropanos, Kilman, Emerson; Soucek, Alvarez; Bowen, Paqueta, Kudus; Ferguson.
Arsenal started strongly at the Emirates Stadium with the Gunners having four shots in the opening 10 minutes, but it was actually West Ham who took the lead, with Jarrod Bowen poking the ball home after David Raya saved Evan Ferguson's shot into the Englishman's path. 22 minutes in, things went from bad to worse for Arsenal – Gabriel pulled down Mohammed Kudus after the forward rolled the ball through his legs, and with the defender the last man, he was shown a red card.
A goal and a man down, the task was proving a tough one for the Gunners, with Merino failing to make any sort of impact as a makeshift striker in the first half. Arteta shifted his squad around for the second half as Arsenal looked for a route back into the game, and it worked, with the hosts equalising just after the hour mark.
Declan Rice made a great challenge on the halfway line to kickstart an Arsenal attack, with the midfielder carrying the ball forward before finding Martin Odegaard. Arsenal's captain flicked the ball back into the path of Rice, and on his left foot, the midfielder's shot was low and hard, powering past the 'keeper at the near post to make it 1-1.
Rice almost grabbed a second against his former team when his inswinging corner looped over the goalkeeper, but the ball rattled the post before being cleared away. Despite being a man down, it was Arsenal who were in full control during the final stages, but Raheem Sterling and Odegaard both missed big chances as the Gunners dropped valuable points.
