Arsenal Women are set to make the Emirates Stadium their primary residence from the upcoming season, with the club confirming that a total of 11 matches will be hosted at the iconic ground.

Eight of those matches will be in the Women's Super League and three in the Champions League, provided the team progresses to the group stages. Any home fixtures during the knock-out rounds of the Champions League will also grace the Emirates pitch.

The remaining games, including domestic cup ties, will continue to be played at Meadow Park in Borehamwood. This season, six WSL fixtures at the Emirates Stadium have drawn an impressive average attendance of over 52,000, featuring two sell-outs and the setting of three WSL attendance records.

Vinai Venkatesham, Arsenal's chief executive, expressed his enthusiasm: "We have recently seen extraordinary growth in supporters coming to Emirates Stadium for games held here, which include two complete sell-outs this season.

"The next step in our journey is to make Emirates Stadium our main home for Arsenal Women. We are looking forward to giving more supporters the chance to watch our women's team play."

Jonas Eidevall, the head coach of Arsenal Women, also shared his excitement about the move: "We have a special connection with our supporters, who have shown up in huge numbers and pushed us forward every step of the way.

"Next season, Emirates Stadium becomes our main home and we are all excited to play in front of bigger crowds every week."
