Aston Villa duo could be reunited as transfer approach made
Valencia have reportedly made contact with Aston Villa over signing right-back Kosta Nedeljkovic on loan.
The Spanish club were in talks with Sporting for Ivan Fresneda, but since the arrival of their new coach Rui Borges, the defender could be given a chance to impress in the second half of the season at the Jose Alvalade Stadium.
As a result, Cadena SER claim Valencia are said to be looking at alternatives including Villa's Nedeljkovic. The 19-year-old is available for a loan this January because Villa are targeting a new right-back to add competition for Matty Cash.

Valencia, who are now managed by former West Brom boss Carlos Corberan, already have one Villa player on loan in Enzo Barrenechea, who has started 10 league games so far this term.
"With Kosta we have a plan," Emery said of the right-back last week. "Firstly it was to do the pre-season, secondly we decided to keep him in the squad for the first part of the season. I think he will need to get minutes, get confidence and feel comfortable playing and here it is difficult for him to get it.
"One option is to let him go on loan. In case he is going on loan, as we planned it in the last weeks, we are as well trying to find something for the right side."
Celta Vigo right-back Oscar Mingueza is one of a few options Villa have studied in recent weeks. The Spain international has a release clause of €20m and is due to enter the final year of his deal in the summer.
Mingueza is a versatile player, capable of operating as a full-back, wing-back or even a centre-back after coming through Barcelona's famed academy La Masia as a central defender.
