Aston Villa handed major blow after fresh injury during Celtic clash
Matty Cash's night was cut short after he was forced to come off with a suspected leg injury during Aston Villa's Champions League tie with Celtic on Wednesday night.
It was another blow for Villa after the right-back appeared to sustain an injury to his lower leg. He was forced to withdraw as a result, with John McGinn replacing him in the 30th minute.
Lamare Bogarde shuffled over to right-back as McGinn partnered up with Youri Tielemans in the double pivot. Villa continue to deal with an extensive injury list, with Ross Barkley, Amadou Onana, Pau Torres and Tyrone Mings already out with injury.

Villa had the perfect start against the Scottish Premiership side, scoring two quick succession goals through Morgan Rogers. Although the visitors did provide a quick response, they also scored two goals just two minutes apart through Adam Idah.
Unai Emery's side must win their final match to stand a chance of qualifying for the knockouts of the competition. Following tonight's game, Villa's focus will turn to the Premier League when they face neighbours Wolves at Molineux on Saturday (5:30pm).
