Aston Villa receive Joao Felix summer transfer message as director reveals Chelsea 'possibility'
AC Milan director Geoffrey Moncada believes there’s a “possibility” they could sign Joao Felix permanently from Chelsea in the summer in a potential blow to Unai Emery and Aston Villa.
Emery is a big fan of the Portuguese forward, but Villa have failed in attempts to sign him in the last two transfer windows as he left Atletico Madrid for Chelsea for £45m last summer and then departed Stamford Bridge for Milan on loan before the end of the January transfer window.
And any thoughts Emery might have about Villa reviving their interest in the 25 year-old when the summer transfer window opens may have already been dashed with Moncada discussing a potential deal to keep Felix at the San Siro permanently.

Felix made a great start to life at AC, scoring on his debut in a 3-1 win against Roma in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday night. Speaking before the match, Moncada said: “It depends on us and on him, there is always a possibility. We have a very good rapport with Chelsea, so we’ll see in the summer.”
After making an instant impact at his new club, Felix posted a message on social media, saying: “Thanks for the warm welcome, San Siro.”
