Jaden Philogene’s agent has addressed the Aston Villa winger’s transfer link to Fenerbahce.

Jose Mourinho’s side are said to be interested in signing Philogene on loan ahead of the January transfer window. And Philogene’s agent has told Turkish media the 22-year-old would be interested in a move.

Speaking to Sabah Spor, Ivo Camacho said: “We haven’t received a direct official offer yet. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is an interest in this regard.

“Jaden will want to play for Fenerbahce if there is a good offer. An ambitious team that plays for the championship is always in its goal.”

Villa re-signed Philogene from Hull City in the summer transfer window but he has been used sparingly by Unai Emery. Among Philogene’s highlights was a start in the victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League, but more often than not he has been a substitute this term.

Philogene has only started twice in the Premier League with Emery preferring Morgan Rogers, Leon Bailey and John McGinn in the three attacking positions behind the striker instead.

According to TRT Spor, via Fotomac, Philogene is on Fenerbahce’s wanted list heading into the winter market. It is claimed Fenerbahce want to add some extra firepower to Mourinho’s squad to boost their chances of chasing down Super Lig leaders Galatasaray.
