Aston Villa team news vs Wolves confirmed as Andres Garcia starts and injury boost revealed
Unai Emery has selected his Aston Villa starting XI to take on Wolves at Molineux this evening.
He has made two changes from the side which beat Celtic 4-2 on Wednesday night as Andres Garcia makes his debut and John McGinn comes into the midfield from the off. Leon Bailey is named on the bench, while Matty Cash is injured. In a boost for Villa, Amadou Onana is back in the matchday squad after overcoming a hamstring problem.
From back to front, Emi Martinez starts in goal behind a defence of Garcia, Ezri Konsa, Boubacar Kamara and Lucas Digne. Youri Tielemans partners Lamare Bogarde in midfield as McGinn operates from the right and Jacob Ramsey on the left. Morgan Rogers supporters Ollie Watkins in attack.

A win wouldn't see Villa move above seventh-placed Bournemouth, but it would cut their four-point gap to the Champions League places. They are winless in their past six league games following Champions League fixtures, with three home draws and three away defeats.
Opponents Wolves have earned seven points from their first three league matches under Vitor Pereira but are now in danger of losing five in a row for the second time this season. They are without striker Jorgen Strand Larsen, who was substituted with a muscle injury against Arsenal last week. Joao Gomes is suspended as a result of his red card in that game.
Villa starting XI: Martinez, Garcia, Konsa, Kamara, Digne, Tielemans, Bogarde, McGinn, Rogers, Ramsey, Watkins.
Subs: Olsen, Zych, Nedeljkovic, Maatsen, Swinkels, Onana, Malen, Bailey, Jimoh-Aloba.
Wolves starting XI: Sa, Semedo, Doherty, Agbadou, Toti, Ait-Nouri, Andre, Bellegarde, Sarabia, Guedes, Cunha.
Subs: Johnstone, Bueno, Hwang, Dawson, R. Gomes, Doyle, Forbs, Chirewa, Lima.
