Is Aston Villa v Bradford City on TV? How to watch Vertu Trophy tie and listen on radio
Aston Villa's under 21s are aiming to reach the quarter finals of the Vertu Trophy on Tuesday when they host Bradford City at Villa Park. Villa's youngsters are the only U21 team remaining in the competition at the last 16 stage - indeed the only side to represent a Premier League academy which made it out of the group stages.
Having come up against Fleetwood Town, Bolton Wanderers and Barrow in the group stages - claiming five points in the process - and then edging out Blackpool on penalties in the last 32, Villa under 21s, under Josep Gombau, will play on home soil for the first time in this campaign.
Bradford, who caused a shock over two legs when they knocked out Paul Lambert's Villa at the semi-final stage of the League Cup in 2013, are in League Two but have hit some strong form in the past month - they've collected ten points from their four matches since, and including, Boxing Day.

What Bradford have said
Bantams boss Graham Alexander has indicated he'll be naming a strong team: “If they weren’t bothered about it, I think they would have switched the game to Valley Parade or something like that. I think they are motivated to win this competition or they wouldn’t be playing it at Villa Park. That tells us the type of game we should expect, the type of competitive level and we have to be ready.
"I’ve been there myself as a player in my younger days in the lower divisions and you don’t get the opportunity to play at famous stadiums like Villa Park very often. “There will be players in the squad who have experienced something like that in the past but not too often. I think the players will be excited about playing there but it’s important that once we get there, we play our game."
