Atletico Madrid scored two first-half goals to keep a slim advantage over Borussia Dortmund in their Champions League quarter-final first leg on Wednesday night.

Rodrigo de Paul put the home side in front within just four minutes after a calamitous loose pass from Ian Maatsen went straight to the Argentine midfielder.

Atletico continued to dominate a nervy Dortmund in the first-half, and Samuel Lino doubled their lead with a tidy finish.
