Barcelona 'considering' Liverpool star as Marcus Rashford transfer alternative
Barcelona is reported to prefer Luis Diaz to Marcus Rashford as the Catalan club considers an addition on the left wing of Hansi Flick's team.
It is claimed by Mundo Deportivo, via Sport Witness, that Barcelona wants to sign one of Diaz, Alexander Isak or Rafael Leao, but that Rashford is deemed a more attainable option than any of them this month.
It is actually stated that Barcelona views signing either Diaz, Isak or Leao as impossible during the January window, which has led to the club considering a move for Rashford, who has reportedly been offered to the Nou Camp outfit by intermediary Arturo Canales.

Barcelona will apparently have to offload players in order to make room for Rashford and the club is apparently attempting to shift the once-wonderkid Ansu Fati in order to make room for the Manchester United winger.
Rashford has not played for United since December 12, missing 10 games, nine of which he has not made the matchday squad for.
United head coach Ruben Amorim has made it clear with his squad selections in recent weeks that Rashford is not in his short-term plans, and he would not be drawn on whether the 27-year-old could be reintegrated during the second half of the season if a January transfer does not materialize.
"I don't know,” Amorim said ahead of Sunday night’s trip to Fulham in the Premier League. ”I really don't know. Guys, it's eight days (until the end of the window). We will see in the end of the window what happened. And then we will talk about it in that moment."
Rashford has contributed seven goals and three assists for United this season, while Diaz has racked up 12 goals and three assists for Liverpool in all competitions.
