BBC make huge Match of the Day presenter decision as Sky Sports face nightmare scenario
In a huge blow to Sky Sports, Kelly Cates is set to leave them to join BBC's coverage of Match of the Day according to reports.
Following the departure of Gary Lineker, which will happen at the end of the season, the BBC have been searching for his replacement. However, in a bold move, it appears that Cates will be sharing the job with two other presenters currently employed at the broadcaster.
According to the Daily Mail, Cates will be sharing the duties with Gabby Logan and Mark Chapman as part of a three-person presenting team. As such, it is understood that Cates will be leaving her duties on Sky Sports to take on this new role.

Cates has been hosting live action from the Premier League on Sky Sports since 2017. Last weekend, she was the lead presenter for Super Sunday as Fulham faced Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur hosted Chelsea.
She will be back on our screens this afternoon for the coverage of Brighton vs Crystal Palace and Manchester City vs Manchester United. While her TV work has almost primarily been for Sky Sports, BBC listeners will also be aware of her.
The 49-year-old has been the voice of Radio 5 Live's midweek coverage and has worked for the broadcaster at major international tournaments. Both Logan and Chapman, who are sharing hosting duties with Cates, have plenty of experience for the BBC already.
Logan has hosted a wide range of sporting events for the broadcaster as well as Premier League live matches for Amazon Prime. Chapman meanwhile is the host of Match of the Day Two (the BBC's Sunday highlights programme) and as well as working for Radio 5 Live has also presented the FA Cup for the BBC and the Carabao Cup for Sky Sports.
