'Beautiful' - Justin Kluivert smashes Newcastle record at St James' Park and fires Euro warning
Bournemouth forward Justin Kluivert has smashed his father's Premier League record for goals scored at St James' Park. The Cherries aces grabbed a hat-trick in the Cherries 4-1 win over the Magpies to end the Toon's unbeaten run.
Eddie Howe's side weren't at the races as Andoni Iraola's side closed the gap to the top-four. 25-year-old Kluivert is the son of former Magpies striker Patrick Kluivert, who spent one season at St James' Park in 2004-05
The Dutch legend scored 13 goals in all competitions for the Toon, six of those arriving in the Premier League but scored just once at St James' Park in the Premier League before being released at the end of the campaign.

"For sure, it's lovely to hear those kind of things," Kluivert said post-match on TNT Sports when asked about surpassing his father's record. "I just want to help my team out, win games and be important for the club. That's what I said I want to be and I'm happy with the ball and the win for sure.
"To come here, against a great team, with the long streak that they have, with the injuries we have, I think we have 12 first-team players, to come here and dominate like this is hats off to the team really.
"Our form is also beautiful, we're here to make an impression with Bournemouth so lovely win today. At the beginning of the season, I'm an ambitious person and we've got a lot of ambitious people in the team.
"Bournemouth did a great job recruiting those kind of players that have a lot of ambition and I think you see that in how we speak about how we want to play in Europe. We want to be the best that we can and I think that we showed that also.
"Why not dream big? See where we end up. You never know."
