The total run time of our audio productions this year is nearly 5,000 hours. So, if you started playing The Athletic’s podcasts continuously the moment the ball dropped in Times Square, it would take you until July to complete them. That’s just one aspect of the depth of our coverage in 2024.

Our talented team has published close to 45,000 stories this year. We covered the biggest triumphs in sports, such as the Euros, the Olympics, the Super Bowl and the World Series. But we also covered the tragedies, including the deaths of the Gaudreau brothers.
