A young man labelled as the 'best rugby teammate ever' left viewers crying in one of the most iconic clips in recent times.

Consoling his teammate, who was in tears whilst at a rugby camp during the school holidays, the young man gave his pal a rousing motivational speech to get him out the hole he was in.

The two boys had only know each other for two days at the Easter Camp when the incident took place, paying testament to the kindness shown by the youngster.

The boy was upset because the other players were bigger and older than him, with the coach explaining that he doesn't have to tackle if he doesn't want to.

Enter a young lad wearing a fluorescent coat to deliver an incredible moment.

"Listen to me. Trust me. Look at me, Bob. I am the shortest kid here, it doesn't matter if you're short, if you're young. It doesn't matter if you're tall, or if you are fat here," he said.

"You are a brilliant rugby player. Do you understand that? You are insane! You are actually insane for your age. Right, give me a hug."

After witnessing this epic moment, the coach simply said: "Best teammate ever."
