Boxing organiser Turki Alalshikh has confirmed that Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn will finally fight in London this April.

The chairman of Saudi Arabia's general entertainment authority stated on social media early Wednesday morning that it is now a deal for them to meet in London this April.

Photos of Benn and his promoter, Eddie Hearn, have emerged since, showing the fighter signing a contract in the presence of Alalshikh, seemingly at The Berkeley hotel in Knightsbridge.

Sharing those images on Instagram, Hearn claimed, "the biggest fight in British boxing has been made" before acknowledging that further details would be forthcoming soon. The fight's date and venue are not confirmed, but either Tottenham Hotspur Stadium or Wembley Stadium will likely host the bout.

Eubank, however, has not confirmed he is signed up to fight but did respond to the pictures of Benn. "Signing his own death sentence," Eubank posted on X, formerly Twitter.

Hours before the confirmation from Alalshikh, he said on the same platform: "Just so you all know… these two rats (Conor Benn) and (Eddie Hearn) are now trying to enforce a rehydration restriction on me to make the fight.

"They talk a big game, but when it actually comes down to it… just a pair of," Eubank wrote before punctuating the post with two cat face emojis.

Benn, though, contested those claims. "You soft p****, I'm coming up two weights to fight you, and I'm the (cat face emoji)? 10 lbs rehydration because I'm already fighting a middleweight, but you want to get in the ring as a light heavyweight?

"You are scared to death of Janibek (Alimkhanuly) and (Hamzah) Sheeraz, so I'm your only option, satsuma head." In a separate post, Benn said: "Making excuses already for when I staple you to the floor (Chris Eubank Jr)."
