Real Madrid and England midfielder Jude Bellingham was spotted cheering on his brother, Jobe Bellingham, during Sunderland's 2-2 draw with Blackburn Rovers in the Championship on Boxing Day.

Yuki Ohashi opened the scoring for the hosts at Ewood Park early in the first half, but two in quick succession soon after the break put Sunderland in control of the game. It took a last-gasp equaliser from Harry Leonard in the 90th minute to ensure the points were shared.

Jobe, who joined Sunderland from Birmingham City on a permanent transfer in 2023, started the game for what was his 19th league appearance of the season. The 19-year-old has scored four goals and registered three assists for his clubs this term, helping them to fourth in the standings after 23 games.

Jude, who is also a product of Birmingham City's academy, has propelled himself to super stardom in recent years. After a positive stint in the Bundesliga with Dortmund, he has taken La Liga by storm ever since his arrival at Real Madrid in 2023.

Over the Christmas period, while the league in Spain has paused for a winter break, Jude opted to spend Boxing Day watching his brother in action at Ewood Park. The Real Madrid midfielder did the same last Christmas, on that occasion watching Sunderland's Championship meeting with Hull City.

Jude will return to action with his club in the New Year when Los Blancos take on travel to face Valencia in La Liga. Real Madrid, who are the league holders, currently sit second in the standings behind local rivals Atletico Madrid.

There will be no rest for Jobe, however, as Sunderland are back in Championship action in just a few days time on December 29. They take on Stoke City at the Bet365 stadium, with the Potters currently 19th in the table.
