Birmingham gymnastics club revels in national recognition
A gymnastics club from Birmingham has earned national recognition for its efforts in ensuring everyone has equal access to sport.
North Birmingham Gymnastics Club has been nominated for the Community Club of the Year (+250 members) prize at the British Gymnastics Awards 2025, in honour of its tireless work in supporting gymnasts of all ages and abilities.
And with the club's efforts now bearing fruit with UK-wide, head coach Louise Combellack was bursting with delight.

"‘We are so very happy to have been nominated for our work in North Birmingham," she said.
"We have worked tirelessly to create a progressive programme of high quality GFA gymnastics with inclusion at the centre of everything we do. Thank you to whoever nominated us!’"
