John Eustace has a decision to make in midfield after losing Sondre Tronstad to injury.

The Blackburn Rovers midfielder is one of three ever presents in the Championship but will lose that record after being ruled out with a hamstring injury.

Rovers look particularly light in midfield with Lewis Travis not quite ready to return after his own injury issue. So it's a choice of Joe Rankin-Costello and Adam Forshaw to partner John Buckley in the middle.

The former was chosen from the bench on Saturday but didn't make a huge impact. Therefore, Rankin-Costello might get the nod.

It's hard to envisage much change in the backline with limited options available. Dion Sanderson is pushing for a start and Kyle McFadzean is expected to return to the bench.

In attack, Amario Cozier-Duberry and Andi Weimann might be rotated out for Tyrhys Dolan and Ryan Hedges. Neither made a massive impact after coming on at the weekend but Eustace may look for fresh legs ahead of a fourth game in 10 days.

Harry Leonard could come in his first Championship start in over 12 months or Makhtar Gueye will lead the line again.

Predicted Rovers team: Pears; Brittain, Hyam, Batth, Beck; Buckley, Rankin-Costello; Dolan, Cantwell, Hedges; Gueye.
