New-look Carlisle United are 12/5 to kickstart their survival push with a win over Bradford City today.

Those are the best odds offered by Betfair and Betfred for this afternoon's early kick-off at Brunton Park.

Other prices for a much-needed Blues win over the play-off chasing Bantams include 23/10 (William Hill) and 9/5 (SkyBet).

Bradford are today attempting to end a 40-year wait for a win at Carlisle's ground, and Graham Alexander's side are 11/8 with SkyBet for the points this afternoon.

The visitors are also 6/5 (888Sport) and 11/10 (Unibet) to prevail in Cumbria.

The draw is 12/5.

United could hand outings to several new signings this afternoon.

Returning striker Cedwyn Scott is 8/1 to mark his second Carlisle debut with the opening goal.

Fellow new boy Stephen Wearne is 11/1 for the first goal on his Brunton Park bow.

Other first-goal odds for January arrivals include Will Patching at 12/1, Elliot Embleton at 14/1, Callum Whelan at 16/1, Sean Fusire at 25/1 and Paul Dummett at 66/1.

Today sees Bradford's first visit to Brunton Park since 2023's dramatic League Two play-off semi-final second leg.

That game finished 1-0 after 90 minutes (Carlisle winning 3-1 in extra-time) and another 1-0 Blues win is 9/1.

Mike Williamson's hosts are 11/1 for a 2-1 win and 40/1 to win 3-0.

Bradford are 17/2 for a repeat of their previous win at Brunton Park - a 2-1 victory back in 1985.

The Bantams are 13/2 to win 1-0, while a 1-1 draw is priced 11/2.
