Ross Halls takes look at how Ipswich Town players got on for their loan clubs on the weekend...

ELKAN BAGGOTT

The defender featured for Blackpool as they were held to a 2-2 draw with Huddersfield Town in League One.

Baggott replaced former Town loanee Matthew Pennington towards the latter end of first half stoppage time to make his first league appearance for the Tangerines since August.

He has suffered two separate injuries during his loan spell at Bloomfield Road, and was only making his fifth appearance for Steve Bruce's side, who threw away a two-goal lead in this game.

They are now six games without a win, but will look to get back to winning ways when they travel to Exeter City on Saturday.

GEORGE EDMUNDSON

The defender featured for Middlesbrough as they lost 2-1 at Portsmouth in the Championship.

Edmundson was booked and played the full 90 minutes for Michael Carrick's side, who suffered their first league defeat in six games and drop out of the play-off spots.

Boro will look to bounce back when they host West Brom on tomorrow evening.

MARCUS HARNESS

The attacker featured for Derby County as they were beaten 2-0 at home to Watford in the second tier.

Harness came on as a 74th minute sub for Paul Warne's side, who suffered their fourth straight defeat, which has now left them just one point above the relegation zone.

The Rams return to action when they host Sunderland tomorrow evening.

CAMERON HUMPHREYS

The midfielder featured for Wycombe Wanderers as they won 2-0 at Mansfield Town to maintain their title chase in League One.

Humphreys played 92 minutes for the Chairboys, who were playing their first game since the departure of Matt Bloomfield.

They sit second in the table, two points away from leaders Birmingham City, and return to action when they host Northampton Town on Saturday.

FINLEY BARBROOK

The young midfielder featured for Sutton United as they won 2-1 at promotion challengers York City in the National League.

Barbrook played the full 90 minutes for Steve Morison's side, who secured their first win in 2025 and are now three points of the play-off spots.

The U's switch their focus to cup action as they host West Brom U21s in the National League Cup tomorrow evening.

HENRY GRAY

The young keeper featured for Braintree Town as they beat play-off hopefuls Solihull Moors 1-0 at home in the fifth tier.

Gray kept a clean-sheet  on his debut for the Iron, who secured only their second win in nine league games.

Steve Pitt's side return to action when they travel to fellow strugglers Ebbsfleet United on Saturday.

LEON AYINDE

The Irishman featured for Rochdale as they were beaten 1-0 at fifth tier leaders Forest Green Rovers.

Ayinde came on as a late sub for Jimmy McNulty's side, who now sit two points off the play-off spots.

The Dale are next in National League Cup action as they host Stoke City U21s tomorrow evening.

ASHLEY BOATSWAIN

The young forward featured for AFC Fylde as they lost 4-1 at Maidenhead United in the fifth tier.

Boatswain made his debut for Kevin Phillips' side, who suffered their third straight defeat and now sit four points adrift in the relegation spots.

The Coasters will look to bounce back when they host Wealdstone on Saturday.

GEORGE IORPENDA AND ALAN FLEISCHER

The duo came up against each other as Heybridge Swifts won 1-0 at Brightlingsea Regent in the Isthmian League North Division.

Fleischer kept a clean-sheet and was booked for the Swifts, while Iorpenda came off the bench for the R's, with both sides now on the same amount of points.

They return to action when they face Basildon United and Walthamstow on Saturday respectively.

JACOB MAZIONIS AND RYAN CARR

Mazionis featured for Woking as they were held to a 1-1 draw  at home with Ebbsfleet United in the fifth tier.

Carr was an unused sub for the Fleet, having joined Josh Wright's side a few hours prior, who are 14 points adrift at the bottom of the table.

The two sides return to action in the league when they face Hartlepool United and Braintree Town respectively.

HARRY BARBROOK 

The young full-back featured for Chelmsford City as they beat Essex rivals Hornchurch 2-1 at home in the National League South.

Barbrook played the full 90 minutes on his home debut for Robbie Simpson's side, who returned to winning ways and now sit 13th in the sixth tier.

The Clarets return to action when they travel to Chesham United tomorrow evening.

AYYUBA JAMBANG

The young full-back featured for Chatham Town as they lost 1-0 at Potters Bar Town in the Isthmian League Premier Division.

Jambang played the full 90 minutes for Kevin Hake's side, who sit eighth in the table and will look to bounce back when they host play-off rivals Hastings United on Saturday.

ASHTON BOSWELL

The young forward featured for Felixstowe & Walton United as they beat Sporting Bengal United 3-2 at home to remain at the top of Isthmian League North Division.

Boswell played 96 minutes for Stuart Boardley's side, who came from 2-1 behind to claim all three points after  former Town player Jack Ainsley score from the spot to equalise in the 81st minute before Charlie Warren netted three minutes later to claim all three points.

The Seasiders are now two points clear at the summit. They return to action when they host Grays Athletic tomorrow evening.

JESSE AYOOLA

The young defender featured for Lowestoft Town as they lost 2-1 at home to Stourbridge in the Southern League Premier Central.

Ayoola played the full 90 minutes for Andy Reynolds' side, who suffered their third straight defeat and are now one point from the relegation zone.

Trawler Boys will look to bounce back when they travel to Bishop's Stortford on Saturday.

JAMIE MAUGE

The young forward featured for Bury Town as they drew 1-1 with Walthamstow in the Isthmian League North Division.

Mauge came on as a 58th minute sub for Cole Skuse's side, who netted a 88th minute equaliser to earn a point and remain second in the table.

The Blues return to action when they host Maldon & Tiptree tomorrow evening.

Chris Wood netted his 14th Premier League goal of the season for Nottingham Forest as they beat Southampton 3-2 at home.

Callum Connolly was among the scorers for Stockport County as they won 3-1 at Reading in League One, while Josh Earl scored for Barnsley as they were beaten 3-1 at Bristol Rovers in the third tier.

David McGoldrick notched a brace for Notts County as they boosted their automatic promotion push with a 3-0 win at Accrington Stanley in League Two.

Tommy Hughes and Ross Crane scored for King's Lynn Town as they beat Marine 3-1 at home in the National League North.
