Blues on loan: Humphreys and Baggott feature in victories for Wycombe and Blackpool

CAMERON HUMPHREYS

The midfielder featured for Wycombe Wanderers as they came from behind to win 2-1 at home to ten-man Barnsley in League One.

Humphreys played 97 minutes for the Chairboys, who went 1-0 down in the 10th minute. However, they turned the game around thanks to a brace from Richard Kone, who netted a 95th minute winner.

They are yet to appoint a new manager after Matt Bloomfield's departure to Luton Town earlier this month, but sit second in the third tier, six points clear of third place Wrexham. Next up is a trip to Cambridge United on Saturday.

 

 

ELKAN BAGGOTT

The defender featured for Blackpool as they won 2-0 at Lincoln City in the third time for the first in 27 years.

Baggott played his first full 90 minutes of the campaign and was booked for Steve Bruce's side as he continued his return from injury. He impressed in this outing, making some key blocks and earned a clean-sheet.

The Tangerines are now unbeaten in their last six games and return to action when they host Charlton Athletic on Saturday.

LEON AYINDE

The Irishman wasn't in action for Rochdale as their home clash with Boston United was postponed due to the pitch at Spotland Stadium unplayable.

Jimmy McNulty's sit in the play-off spots in the National League, but switch their focus to cup action on Saturday as they travel to Worthing in the fifth round of the FA Trophy.

ASHLEY BOATSWAIN

The young forward wasn't involved for AFC Fylde as they were beaten 2-0 at Southend United in the fifth tier.

Kevin Phillips' side suffered their 16th defeat of the season which sees now one point adrift from safety. They will look to bounce back as they host Oldham on Saturday.

 

 

HENRY GRAY AND EMMANUEL OKUNOWO

The duo featured for Braintree Town as they beat Spurs U21s 3-1 at home in the National League Cup.

Okunowo made his debut for the Iron, who are top of table in this competition and have already secured their place in the final stages.

Steve Pitt's side switch their focus back to league action as they host Hartlepool United on Saturday.

AYYUBA JAMBANG

The young full-back featured for Chatham Town as they won 3-2 at Hashtag United to progress to the semi-finals of the Velocity Cup.

Jambang played the full 90 minutes and was booked for the Chats, who came from behind to win, with former Town forward Freddie Sears among the scorers for Kevin Hake's side.

They switch their focus back to Isthmian League Premier Division action when they trave to Canvey Island on Saturday.

HARRY BARBROOK 

The young full-back featured for Chelmsford City as played out a goalless draw at home with Maidstone United in the National League South.

Barbrook played the full 90 minutes for Robbie Simpson's side, who had a player sent-off in the 40th minute but battled hard to earn a point.

The Clarets return to action when they host Chesham United on Saturday.

GEORGE IORPENDA AND FLEICHER

The duo weren't in action for Brightlingsea Regent and Heybridge Swifts respectivley as their game at Ipswich Wanderers and Witham Town were postponed due to the wet weather.

They both return to action when they face Brentwood Town and Newmarket Town in Isthmian League North Division on Saturday.

 

 

EX-BLUES

Armando Dobra was among the scorers for Chesterfield as beat ten-man Bromley 2-0 at home in League Two. The Albanian forward has eight league goals this season.

Shane McLoughlin netted a penalty for Newport County as they were held to a 1-1 draw with ten-man Salford City in the fourth tier.
