Bolton shopping centre helps young footballers with new sponsorship deal
A Bolton shopping centre is supporting two football teams.
Market Place has been sponsoring the Turton Tigers Blues U12s for the past year, and has now announced that it will also sponsor the newly formed Turton Tigers Pinks U8s team.
The sponsorship will help provide both teams with kits, equipment, and support for their development.
Nicola Shawcroft, general manager of Market Place, said: "We’ve loved watching the Blues U12s grow and succeed over the past year, and we’re so proud to support their journey.
"Sponsoring the new Pinks U8s team is an amazing opportunity to extend that support and invest in the next generation of local talent.
"We're honoured to be part of the Turton Tigers family."
Market Place's sponsorship is an extension of its commitment to supporting grassroots sports in the community.
The shopping centre is keen to foster a love for the game in the young teams and encourage values of teamwork, resilience, and community pride.
Turton Tigers Football Club is known for nurturing young talent and creating a positive, inclusive environment for children of all abilities.
Thomas Taylor, a coach at the Turton Tigers, said: "Market Place’s sponsorship has made such a difference to the Blues U12s, and we’re thrilled to have them on board for the Pinks U8s as well.
"Their backing helps us provide the best possible experience for our players, from new kits to training equipment.
"It’s great to see a local business investing in young people and giving them the opportunity to thrive both on and off the pitch."
This year promises to be an "exciting one" for both the Blues and Pinks teams, with plenty of matches and milestones on the horizon.
Market Place Bolton will also be promoting updates on the teams’ progress and achievements, highlighting their hard work and dedication.
