Borna Barisic in angry Rangers fan confrontation outside Ibrox as tempers flare

Footage has emerged showing Borna Barisic involved in an angry confrontation with a Rangers supporter outside Ibrox.

Barisic started in Sunday's crucial 4-1 Premiership home win over Kilmarnock which cut the gap on Celtic back to three points ahead of Saturday's must-win trip to Parkhead. But the Croatian left-back appeared to be caught up in a row with a fan after the game as he mingled with punters outside the stadium, posed for pictures and signed photographs.

A clip doing the rounds on social media shows a punter gesturing towards the defender before Barisic charges over in a fit of rage. The 31-year-old is then filmed exchanging words with the fan in the crowd before appearing to raise his arm and lunge towards the fan.

The heated altercation drew a gasp from the shocked crowd - many of whom were children - as an Ibrox security man quickly ushered Barisic away. It comes as Barisic looks set to leave the club in the coming weeks after six years in Govan.

Barisic is attracting interest from Turkey and it's believed he's agreed a pre-contract with Trabzonspor that will see him move to the Super Lig for a free transfer this summer. But he'll be desperate to bow out with a Treble as Philippe Clement's side aim to keep their dreams of a clean sweep alive by beating Celtic in this weekend's mouthwatering Old Firm derby.
