Bournemouth star sends message after passing Manchester United transfer audition
Milos Kerkez had the ideal audition against Manchester United in Bournemouth's 3-0 victory at Old Trafford on Sunday.
United have been linked with a swoop for the Serbian in recent months amid his impressive form since joining Bournemouth from AZ Alkmaar in July 2023. The 21-year-old has been one of the stand out performers for Andoni Iraola's side with them finishing 12th in the Premier League last season.
Although Kerkez didn't get on the scoresheet at the weekend, he put in a strong performance in what was his 17th consecutive league start. Taking to Instagram after the game, the defender wrote: "We believed, we delivered, proud of the boys and thankful for great support!"

The left-back has been a real attacking threat for the Cherries and notched two assists so far this campaign. Describing his own style of play, Kerkez said: "Maybe people see how much I go forward and they forget about my defending but the first thing I’m good at is defending, one v one, in the duels.
"Anything extra is a bonus, because I have the energy to do it, so why not? It is the best thing for us as defenders, to lock down the wingers."
Iraola has previously heaped praise on the defender, saying: "Milos has been solid this season, he is more mature and he is seeing the benefits of having the experience of going through a past season. I think it is a new level for him."
He also dismissed the transfer rumours, adding: "About the other teams (and their interest in Kerkez), I don’t really pay too much attention to these things. I don’t know how much truth there is in these rumours."
Following the defeat to the Cherries, United will hope to return to winning ways when they take on Wolves at Molineux on Boxing Day (5:30pm). Four days later, they will host Newcastle United before a trip to Merseyside to face Premier League leaders Liverpool.
