Brendan Rodgers to snub Rangers on TV in favour of Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham vs Man City despite Celtic title implications

Brendan Rodgers WON'T be tuning into Rangers vs Dundee this evening despite the fact that Celtic could be champions depending on the result.

The Hoops manager has instead pencilled in the Tottenham vs Manchester City clash in his diary to keep an eye on the Premier League and the title implications down south. There is a chance Rodgers' own Celts could be officially crowned league winners this evening if the Ibrox outfit fail to beat the Dees at home.

But that won't entice the Northern Irishman to watch the game. No, Rodgers will be watching another game and focus only on his own team doing the business themselves tomorrow against Kilmarnock.

"No, I’ll watch Tottenham-Man City," he said when asked if he'd be tuning into Rangers. "And obviously once we’ve finished our work here I’ll watch probably that game. Our only focus is on ourselves and preparing for the game tomorrow and outwith that we can’t control anything else. For me it doesn’t really matter. Some people prefer to win it there then you have the celebration. For me it’s just about collating the points over the season and when it’s mathematically rubber stamped you take that."
