'Brilliant event' entries open for popular 10k and fun run
Thousands of runners are expected to take part in the Paisley 10k and Fun Run.
The event, organised by OneRen, will return to the town on August 17.
Entries are now open, and those who sign up before April 30, can take advantage of an early bird discounted entry fee.
To sign up, visit the OneRen website.
Last year, more than 4500 people participated, and organisers are hoping for even more this year.
The event is open to all, from experienced runners to families looking for a fun day out.
The 10k road race is a flat, fast course, taking runners on a loop around Paisley's town centre and out to the west of the town.
More than 3k of the route is on the Paisley Canal to Kilmacolm cycle track.
The start and finish line is in County Square, outside Paisley Gilmour Street train station.
Councillor Lisa-Marie Hughes, chair of OneRen, said: "The Paisley 10k and Fun Run is a fantastic event that brings the community together.
"It’s great to see so many people getting involved and supporting one another.
"Last year’s event was our most popular to date with over 4,500 runners participating.
"We hope this year there are even more runners taking part to enjoy such a brilliant event."
The event is also supported by Renfrewshire Council.
