Max O'Leary - 7

Made an excellent early save and was forced into action with a couple more big stops in the first half. Some good moments with the ball at his feet as well as he secured a third home clean sheet in as many matches.

Luke McNally - 8

He may be a defender, but McNally is providing a real goal threat from the back so far this season. Excellent movement and an even better finish to break the deadlock. A cheeky Cryuff turn under pressure topped off a brilliant first-half showing.

Rob Dickie - 7

Deployed in the middle of the back three and had an awful lot of work to do. Though he misjudged the flight of a few long passes, he produced several important moments in defence to keep City's clean sheet intact. Improved as the game wore on and put in another really solid defensive display.

Zak Vyner - 7

As he has done all season, the versatile centre-back went about his witness on the right side of the defence and kept his opposite number fairly quiet. Offered an outlet going forward as well which can only be a good thing in these sorts of close games.

Haydon Roberts - 6

Restored to the starting line-up in place of the injured Cam Pring and for the most part, he went about his business well enough. Though he didn't do anything particularly special, he battled away and carved out one or two reasonable opportunities.

Jason Knight - 7

Against his former club, the Reds skipper battled away in the middle of the park as he always does. Seemed to cover every blade of grass, as he always does and never ran out of energy. Can now enjoy a much-needed rest before the FA Cup clash with Wolves.

Max Bird - 6

Although he wasn't quite as effective as he was at Home Park or against Portsmouth, Bird did what he could to impact the game from the middle of the park. A couple of nice tackles and some clever passes, but not quite the cutting-edge that he has demonstrated in recent weeks.

Ross McCrorie (off for George Tanner, 58') - 6

Battled away as he has done every week since returning from injury, but lacked a bit of cutting edge to make a difference in the final third. Arguably should have scored with one of his two good chances in the Rams' box but didn't even manage to test the keeper.

Anis Mehmeti - 7

Although he carried a constant threat down the left flank, Mehmeti wasn't quite as impactful against the Greens. Played a couple of neat passes in the final third, however, he didn't manage to play at the sort of pace that has made him one of City's best players this season. Did impress with his work off of the ball though.

Scott Twine (off for Yu Hirakawa, 78') - 8

That's the Scott Twine that fans want to see every week. The attacking midfielder was at the centre of everything good the Robins did. His free-kick to pick out McNally was superb as was his press. His intervention to deny what looked like a certain goal late in the first half was also excellent.

Nahki Wells (off for Fally Mayulu, 58') - 7

Lead the line well for the hour he was on the field as he not only organised the press but held the ball up brilliantly. Unfortunate, once again, to not get on the scoresheet himself as his performances over the last few weeks have more than warranted a goal.

Substitutes:

George Tanner - 6

Went about his business well and should have left Ashton Gate with an assist to his name at least.

Fally Mayulu - 6

A much brighter showing from the Frenchman who came close to finding the net, but there is still so much for him to work on.

Yu Hirakawa - 7

A brilliant, but brief cameo from the winger.
