Bristol Rovers' League One home matches against Stockport County and Bolton Wanderers have been given new dates after both fixtures were postponed recently.

Rovers were supposed to host Bolton on December 7 but saw the game called off that morning due to safety concerns amid red weather warnings caused by Storm Darragh.

Meanwhile, Stockport would have been this weekend's visitors had both teams failed to make it to the FA Cup third round. The Gas overcame Barnsley on penalties and will travel to Premier League outfit Ipswich Town on Sunday while County beat non-league Brackley Town at home and will also play a top-flight side away from home in Crystal Palace.

Both games will now be played a month apart with Stockport set to make the long trip south on Tuesday, February 11 while close neighbours Bolton will cover an incredibly similar distance on Tuesday, March 11.

Rovers are yet to face the Whites this season and will now play them twice within the space of three weeks with their trip to the Toughsheet Stadium scheduled for Saturday, April 5.

Meanwhile, they were beaten 2-0 at Edgely Park back in August in Stockport's third League One game back in the third tier following last season's promotion.

February in particular already looks set to be a crucial month of matches for the Gas as they look to steer clear of any relegation fears. After travelling to Wigan Athletic and Charlton Athletic at the end of January, Rovers will face Peterborough United, Stockport, Burton Albion and Rotherham United at home and travel to Wycombe Wanderers, Northampton Town and Shrewsbury Town within the space of just over a month.
