Bruna Vilamala expects to see the real Albion when they chase cup glory tonight.

The Seagulls host Arsenal in the quarter-finals of the Women’s League Cup at the Broadfield Stadium (7.15pm).

They have not forgotten the 5-0 defeat away to the Gunners which punctuated their bright start to the Women’s Super League campaign.

But Bruna, the Spain forward on loan from Barcelona, says the hosts plan to serve up something different this time.

She told The Argus: “It was tough for us there.

“For me, the Brighton that played there in the league game wasn’t the Brighton we are used to.

“Everything conspired. They had their best match and we probably had our worst.

“But this cup tie is at home, not at the Emirates, which is a very big pitch in terms of dimensions.

“We will have our people in the stands and I think the match will be totally different to the one we had in the league.”

Albion go into the game after a 2-1 defeat at Liverpool in the league while Arsenal thrashed Crystal Palace 5-0 with Leah Williamson, Alessia Russo and Beth Mead playing starring roles.

But the Seagulls have an impressive record at home this term.

Tickets priced £8-12 for adults, with concessions available, remain on sale via the club website.
