Bukayo Saka drops major injury hint as Arsenal share important return update
Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka has provided a positive injury update from the clubs; warm-weather training trip to Dubai.
The 23-year-old has not played for the Gunners since before Christmas, when he sustained a hamstring problem and was forced to have surgery. At the time he was Arsenal's leading assist-maker in the Premier League - now, almost two months later, that still remains the case.
So with inspiration desperately needed as Arsenal desperately try to hunt down Liverpool in the title race, and especially since Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli have suffered their own injury troubles to further deplete Mikel Arteta's forward line, Saka is fighting his way back into his manager's plans.

Sharing a series of images taken during his recent individual rehabilitation training at Arsenal's warm weather camp in Dubai on his Instagram, Saka posted a wordless caption using only the half-full hour glass emoji to indicate his return is edging ever nearer.
Arsenal's own X, formerly Twitter, account celebrated their No.7's latest progress with a post too, writing: "Stepping up that rehab."

Whilst an exact date or match has not been given, March at the very earliest was the timescale put on his recovery. The Gunners and Arteta will be hoping he makes it back on schedule so that they can hunt down the six-point gap to Premier League leaders Liverpool.
And even though this has been the month given for Saka's more than likely return, the boss remained seriously coy on the matter when speaking last.
"There's no news," Arteta said between the recent Manchester City and Newcastle United matches. "Ben [White] is still out. Hopefully, after the break, he will be available, Saka not yet.
"I don't know," he simply replied when pushed further on Saka's potential return date.
