A dozen Arsenal players have seen their transfer market value drop ahead of the winter window before January despite several players becoming increasingly valuable to the Gunners.

Ethan Nwaneri is the big winner, with his market value more than doubling in mere months (from £10m to £25m) after regularly appearing for the first team this season. Myles Lewis-Skelly has also doubled in value (from £4m to £8m) after Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta entrusted the teenager over this last month.

Jurrien Timber is also on the up (from £32m to £37m) after deputising in defence. Standout starters, Bukayo Saka and David Raya (from £29m to £33m), are also rising in value as January approaches.

Transfermarkt rates Saka as the club's most valuable player (at around £124m), up £8m from the end of last season. That makes the winger their second most valuable Premier League player behind Erling Haaland (£166m) but ahead of Phil Foden (£116m), Rodri and Cole Palmer (both £108m).

Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard are next behind those five at £91m, but the former has dropped £8m this term. Gabriel Jesus has also devalued by the same amount to £37m, while Chelsea loanee Raheem Sterling has dropped almost £11m to £18m.

Mikel Merino has also dropped down around £4m since his summer move to £37m. Gabriel Martinelli (£46m), Leandro Trossard and Oleksandr Zinchenko (both £25m) have also depreciated by that amount.

There were more minimal drops for on-loan Bournemouth goalkeeper Neto (from £2m to £1.7m), Jakub Kiwior (down £1.7m to £23m), Jorginho (from £10m to £8m, and Takehiro Tomiyasu (down £2.5m to £27m). Ben White (£46m), Gabriel Magalhaes and Kai Havertz (both £62m), Kieran Tierney (£8m) and William Saliba (£66m) have remained the same.

In total, Arsenal players have increased in value by £37m. However, in turn, that is offset by the £53m worth of depreciation, resulting in around a £16m loss.
