Caitlin Clark, Fever to play WNBA preseason game at University of Iowa vs. Brazilian National Team

The Indiana Fever will play a preseason game at Caitlin Clark's alma mater, the University of Iowa, on May 4 against the Brazilian National Team, the team announced.

Clark, whose jersey is being retired by Iowa this weekend after a historic collegiate career, and the Fever will play Brazil at the 15,500-seat Carver-Hawkeye Arena as part of their three-game preseason slate, which also includes games on May 3 vs. the Washington Mystics at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and on May 10 at the Atlanta Dream.

Fever forward Damiris Dantas hails from Brazil and previously played on the national team in the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics.

The Fever open their regular season against the Chicago Sky on May 17, under new coach Stephanie White, and will try to improve on last season's first-round playoff exit.
