When is the Carabao Cup final and prize money as Liverpool bid for trip to Wembley
Liverpool are looking for a big win tonight to secure a return trip to Wembley to defend their Carabao Cup title, as they line-up against Tottenham Hotspur with a one goal difference to make up.
Arne Slot has some work to do, with the Reds currently a goal behind after Lucas Bergvall's controversial late winner nearly a month ago in the first leg clash. This time at home, a two-goal win would give Slot his first ever chance as a player or manager to play at a venue he refers to as "iconic" just months into his career on Merseyside.
In an interview at the club's AXA Training Centre Slot said: "If you go to England people are talking about Wembley as an iconic stadium, especially if it's a final. So you can be sure that we as a team want to win that game tomorrow to go to Wembley.”
The Reds will face a recently bolstered Ange Postecoglou side with new signings Mathys Tel and Kevin Danso available to start. Despite this, Postecoglou has an injury headache to overcome with Dominic Solanke, James Maddison, Guglielmo Viacrio, Brenndan Johnson, Destiny Odogie, Timo Werner, Wilson Odobert and Radu Dragusin all thought to be out of action.
So, if Liverpool were to come-up with a win and secure a trip to Wembley tonight, when is the Carabao Cup final? Liverpool Echo has all the details.

When is the Carabao Cup final?
The Carabao Cup will be held in just over a month on Sunday, March 16. The kick off time is yet to be announced but will be revealed closer to the time. Last year the event held a 3pm kick off so it is likely it will be the same again.
Will the winners qualify for Europe?
If Liverpool win the final they will earn themselves a play-off spot in the UEFA Conference League for the 2025/26 season. Although with The Reds already having a confident lead in the league they are much more likely to receive a Champions League spot and therefore the place will be passed down.

What is the prize money?
Carabao Cup prize money is significantly less than its European counterparts, with each semi-finalist receiving £25,000 for reaching this stage of the competition. A place in the final would bank Liverpool £50,000 which will increase to £100,000 if they manage to bring the silverware home.
Who would Liverpool play in the final?
If Liverpool secured themselves a spot in the final, they would play Newcastle United in the final after the Magpies recorded a resounding 4-0 aggregate win over Arsenal.
