Newcastle United will be looking to make their dreams a reality on Wednesday night as they look to book their place in the final of the Carabao Cup.

The Magpies have positioned themselves brilliantly to reach the final after the first leg of their semi-final against Arsenal. Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon's goals ensured Newcastle hold a 2-0 aggregate lead over the Gunners ahead of the return leg at St James' Park this evening.

No Newcastle fan is counting their chickens before they hatch but it is hard to deny the strength of position the Toon find themselves in prior to kick off. Arsenal will need to win by two clear goals to take the match to extra time and with a raucous atmosphere awaiting them, that will be no small feat.
