When is the Carabao Cup semi-final draw? Manchester United target last-four spot
The Carabao Cup continues this week with Manchester United aiming to reach the semi-finals of the competition under recently-appointed Ruben Amorim.
Thursday night's trip to Tottenham Hotspur will be Amorim's first taste of the EFL competition - and United's third manager in the dugout this season for the tournament. Erik ten Hag led the Reds for their thumping victory over League One outfit Barnsley and Ruud van Nistelrooy was in interim charge as they cruised past Leicester City in the last-16.
Spurs is arguably their toughest challenge to date and Ange Postecoglou's side head into the game on a high after thrashing Southampton 5-0 on Sunday afternoon. But Amorim's men should be full of confidence too, after beating local rivals Manchester City in dramatic circumstances this weekend.
