Here's how we rated the Bluebirds players following the 1-1 draw against Coventry City.

Jak Alnwick 7

Flapped at one or two early crosses but was much better in the second half. His shot stopping and distribution were on point.

Andy Rinomhota 7

Another really solid display at right-back from the midfielder. Kept his flank relatively quiet.

Dimitrios Goutas 8

Excellent in the air and on the floor. Made a fantastic clearance off the line from one Victor Torp shot.

Jesper Daland 5

Was generally pretty solid but he was way too soft in defending against Ellis Simms, who outmuscled him and forced the opening for Tatsuhiro Sakamoto's goal. Threw his coat to the ground after being subbed.

Callum O'Dowda 8

A real attacking threat today. Did tremendously to set up Robertson's goal. Works so diligently.

Calum Chambers 7

Another decent outing in that six role. Broke up play well there and kept it simple when in possession. Dropped back into defence later on.

Manolis Siopis 8 (star man)

Enjoys having the safety net of Chambers, means he can press and harry higher up the field and it's had a positive effect. Came into his own after the red card.

Alex Robertson 7

Turned home the opener and was far more involved in dictating play in recent weeks. Enjoyed playing higher up. Sign up to our daily Cardiff City newsletter here.

Cian Ashford 7

Backed up his performance at Vicarage Road. Showed pace and strength aplenty. Registered another assist with a cushioned header to Robertson. Looking an exciting player.

Callum Robinson 6

Had a goal ruled out for offside - he was caught out too often - but was generally good in the first half. Sent off very harshly for slight contact with Bobby Thomas with his elbow.

Chris Willock 6

Showcased those tricky feet on more than one occasion and dovetailed nicely with O'Dowda. Just lacked that end product today.

Ollie Tanner (Willock 69) 7 - Had a one-v-one chance saved after being put through by Meite.

Yakou Meite (Ashford 69) 8 - An excellent cameo from the bench. Won headers, set up Tanner for a chance and hammered a half volley wide.
